The Doctor's fob watch, engraved with Gallifreyan symbols, is used to store the memories and biology of a Time Lord who uses the Chameleon Arch. The watch uses a perception filter to prevent the transformed Time Lord from noticing it (You may have seen it featured in several episodes of Doctor Who) and when opened by the Time Lord, it restores their original physiology.

I've taken the Gallifreyan symbols and used the sepia imagery to decoupage the front of a vintage brass pocket watch (35mm wide/in original case but no dial or glass front) and positioned strategically over the imagery is another vintage wristwatch movement with lots of beautiful tiny ruby jewels and intricate detailing (21mm wide) and alongside are several smaller vintage watch wheels, to represent the mechanics of of time travel and the Time Lord's life.

The chain (18") is vintage tone etched links and the fob watch is attached via a vintage brass pocket watch balance arm (28mm long). Secured with a lobster clasp.

It looks like a mini explosion of watch parts trying to reassemble themselves to form the Doctor's Fob Watch !

Arrives wrapped in non-tarnish tissue paper, gift boxed and tied with organza ribbon, completely gorgeous for gift-giving.
