Victoriana Penny-Farthing Bicycle Steampunk Necklace

Victoriana Penny-Farthing Bicycle Steampunk Necklace

SOLD Victorian nostalgia, the penny-farthing was the first machine to be called a bicycle. It got it's name from the different coins in Britain at the time (the penny and the farthing). I've taken a stylized vintage illustration of a penny farthing and decoupaged it onto a vintage pocket watch movement (29mm wide/really detailed brassy workings) and I've attached a brassy vintage wristwatch movement with lots of twinkly ruby jewels inside the watch part (14mm wide) to the front wheel.

The chain (22") is vintage tone belcher with various vintage watch wheels, etched links and topaz czech glass beads. Secured with a lobster clasp. Very old fashioned looking piece and eye catching.

Arrives wrapped in non-tarnish tissue paper, gift boxed and tied with organza ribbon, completely gorgeous for gift-giving.
