Shakespeare's Sonnet XVIII Steampunk Pocket Watch Necklace

Shakespeare's Sonnet XVIII Steampunk Pocket Watch Necklace

I've taken the beautiful William Shakespeare's sonnet number 18, 'Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day ?', from a vintage Shakespeare book and decoupaged it inside a vintage pocket watch case (an enormous 69mm wide/no glass front). Perched just on the edge of the pocket watch case is a brass filigree butterfly....just like a summer's day !

The chain (32") is vintage tone belcher with etched links, summery yellow czech glass beads and a vintage key (45mm long). Secured with a lobster clasp. I made the chain extra long because the pendant is so large it would probably be easier to wear at a longer length !
